On February 3, 2024, the ECIE team gathered at the serene The Great Roots Forestry Spa Resort for an unforgettable year-end celebration. This event was not just a gathering; it was a celebration of the hard work, achievements, and spirit of collaboration that have defined our team over the past year. Amidst the lush greenery and soothing hot springs, we came together to share a meal, enjoy nature, and participate in a joyous raffle event, all while forging stronger bonds within our community.
The day was filled with laughter, conversation, and the rekindling of old friendships, as we were delighted to welcome back our alumni. Their presence brought a sense of continuity and a reminder of the enduring connections we strive to maintain within the ECIE family. Our group photo, a symbol of our unity and shared purpose, captured the essence of the day—a moment frozen in time, reflecting the collective spirit of our team.
A highlight of the celebration was the raffle event, which brought an element of excitement and anticipation. Prizes were won, but the true reward was the joy and camaraderie shared among team members. The lunch and nature activities provided a perfect backdrop for informal discussions, relaxation, and a reconnection with the environment, reminding us of the importance of balance and well-being in our pursuit of excellence.
In the spirit of gratitude, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every member of the ECIE team. Your dedication, hard work, and collaborative efforts have been the driving force behind our success. Special appreciation goes to Professor Huang-Jen Chiu from NTUST and Professor Katherine Kim from NTU, whose guidance and expertise have been invaluable to our progress. The research teams at Taipei Tech and Taiwan Tech, as well as our undergraduate colleagues from National Ilan University, deserve recognition for their contributions to our achievements this year.
Our alumni and corporate partners have also played a crucial role in our journey, providing support and collaboration that have been essential to our growth. It is the collective effort of our professors, alumni, team members, and partners that fuels our mission and makes our work impactful.
