2021 Project Competition at the Electrical Engineering Department, National Ilan University
Design and Implementation of Bidirectional WPT System for the E-Bike
We won Excellent Work Award!!!!!!
With the general development of electric bicycles, the safety issues brought by electric bicycle batteries have also received attention. Our team is committed to developing infinite charging technology applied to bicycles to solve the contact aging caused by the exposure of metal contacts of electric bicycles. Unable to waterproof and other issues. In addition, in order to enhance the convenience of battery use, the battery will be a pluggable architecture.
In order to realize this technology, we designed a bidirectional WPT (wireless power transfer) circuit with a symmetrical architecture to realize a wireless transmission system when charging and discharging the battery. Our team designed this circuit to have strong functionality and complete Architecture, and we have increased the maximum efficiency to 91%
