ECIE Lab to Present Research and Join Mentorship Roundtables at APEC 2025!
We are thrilled to share that the ECIE Laboratory will take part in the upcoming IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference (APEC 2025), held in Atlanta, Georgia, from March 16–20, 2025.

Our paper titled:
“LLC Converter Main Transformer Losses: Eliminating Air Gaps and Integrating Parallel External Inductors”
Authors: Yu-Chen Liu, Shang-Syun Wu
has been selected for the Dialogue Preview Session (DPS)—a high-visibility poster event showcasing the top 10% of accepted submissions. The DPS will be held on March 17, 2025, just before the plenary session.

PELS Mentorship Roundtables Participation
In addition to the technical presentation, Prof. Yu-Chen (Steven) Liu will serve as a Table Mentor at the PELS Mentorship Roundtables on March 18, 2025 (6:30–8:30 PM ET), held at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, Grand E Room.
Prof. Liu will lead a discussion table on the topic of “Work-Life Balance”, offering insights to aspiring engineers and young professionals in an intimate and supportive setting. This annual mentorship event, hosted by IEEE PELS since 2017, is a valuable opportunity for early-career professionals to connect with experienced leaders over food, drinks, and meaningful conversation.
