We are thrilled to share that ECIE Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology, has recently achieved remarkable milestones on the international stage, marking significant progress in both academic excellence and global collaboration.

🏆 Triumphed at IPEC 2026 with Outstanding Recognitions

Our research team recently participated in the International Power Electronics Conference 2026 (IPEC 2026) and achieved excellent results. This year, ECIE Lab presented three papers covering cutting-edge topics in high-frequency power conversion, magnetic component modeling, and advanced power electronics design.

We are also incredibly proud to announce that Rou-An Chen received the Outstanding Paper Award for Young Engineers, a prestigious recognition of our team’s dedication and impactful research efforts globally.

🇯🇵 Deepening International Collaboration: Academic Exchange with Nagoya University

In tandem with our conference success, ECIE Lab was honored to visit Nagoya University for a deeply meaningful academic exchange between Taiwan and Japan.

During the visit, our team had the valuable opportunity to introduce ECIE Lab’s recent research activities and learn from the cutting-edge research directions and technical insights shared by Nagoya University. The inspiring discussions, comprehensive laboratory tour, and warm interaction with faculty members and students provided us with fresh perspectives on power electronics research, engineering education, and international partnership.

Furthermore, we are excited that our senior undergraduate student, Jimmy, has the opportunity to join Nagoya University as an exchange student. We strongly believe these international experiences will broaden our students’ academic horizons and further strengthen the bond between research groups in Taiwan and Japan.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. Masayoshi Yamamoto, Prof. Jun Imaoka, and Prof. Sihoon Choi for their kind invitation, warm hospitality, and invaluable guidance throughout this visit. This trip was not only a fruitful academic exchange but also a treasured opportunity to deepen the friendship and collaboration between our institutions.
